Remaining Balance

We currently have an outstanding balance of $1,070 due for the class reunion. Please help us close the balance by making an additional contribution if possible. We especially encourage class members to contribute who have not donated in any amount to the reunion fund. Many small contributions go a long way. We also encourage class members to donate who have already donated, but whose financial situation enables them to make a more generous contribution. Contributions can be made in any amount through the "Donate" link in the right hand column.

Reunion Recap

Thank you to everyone who supported our ten year class reunion. The reunion was a major success with more than 160 people in attendance. It was a lively night as friends renewed acquaintance over dinner and our original senior slide show was played. After some trivia from 1998, Kyle Woodruff graced us with a few piano solos. We also took time to remember classmates who have passed on and paid tribute to them. All in all it was a great evening.

The reunion committee members spent many hours searching out alumni but were not able to contact everyone. We are sorry that not everyone received notice of the reunion. Please help us keep our class informed by passing on our blog address. This blog will be the official site for any news, updates, or announcements regarding our class reunions.

Reunion before the Reunion

Alumni Register Now!

Click on the registration link in the column to the right to be added to the official Cyprus High 1998 Alumni list so we can keep you informed of important Alumni events and announcements. Please register even if you aren't planning to attend the reunion. There are 12 questions that will take only a few minutes to complete.

Four Reminders

1. There have been a couple of questions about the reunion date. Please note that it is planned for Saturday August 2, 2008.

2. The reunion was originally planned as a formal event, but we have had mixed responses to that. Please give us your vote so we know what the majority wants to do.

3. We're requesting donations from those who plan to attend the reunion rather than charging an entry fee. We chose a less expensive venue and moderate dinner to keep the costs down, but they must still be covered. Please submit your donation as soon as you know you will be attending.

4. We're still looking for many of our classmates for whom we do not have contact information. Please refer alumni of '98 to this blog for details about the reunion. Also ask them to submit their contact information so we can keep them updated. Stay tuned for a list of those for whom we are still searching.

Call for Entertainment

We're looking for talent to entertain at the class reunion. If you like to perform, belong to a musical group, do stand up comedy, can pull a bunny out of a hat, or stand on your head, we need you! Submit an email telling us about what you can do. We're also looking for suggestions of other entertainers that you would like to have present. Reunion Details

The ten year reunion will be held August 2nd at the E-Center. We have the Centennial Room reserved with a stunning view of the valley. Dinner will be served as we turn back the clock with a special video featuring YOU back in the day. Don't miss this chance to renew acquaintances and share the adventures of life. Music, entertainment, and prizes are included. This is for adults only. More details will follow. Mark your calendars now!

A $30 donation per person attending is requested to help cover reunion costs. Please use the donate button to the right to submit donations. You do not need to have a PayPal account to make a donation. If you don't have a PayPal account, follow the link on the bottom left page of PayPal which reads "Don't have a PayPal account?" If you are making donations to cover the cost of 2 persons, you may need to follow the donation process twice.

All event planning, including time incurred reserving a venue, collecting contact information, creating the slide show, organizing activities, maintaining the blog and alumni websites, setting up accounts, etc. has been done on a volunteer basis. Donations will be used only to pay for food, venue reservations, party supplies, and other direct costs.

10 Year Class Reunion

Ten years have come and gone since we crossed the stage in cap and gown, friends and family cheering in the stands. We stood at the brink of a new day with limitless opportunities. As all set out for a different dream, each has taken a different course. Though each journey is different, success and failure, love and loss, and joy and sorrow are common threads in the fabric of life. Come and celebrate the last ten years of life as we commemorate our high school graduation.
